Our group intends to investigate how the square's simbolic power contributes for the different social groups, for example, into the context of political protests or low income gatherings.

What can we observe in the physical space?
- agroupments of people in the square
- traces of posters or flyers from protests or gatherings

What can we observe in the digital space?
- pictures on the social networks such as facebook, instagram, flickr.
- pictures and/or texts about protests (pro and con the impeachment, for example), about low income gatherings (LGBT, Duelo de Passinho) and other protests like the marijuana parade.

What can we ask people?
- where do you live and what is your profession? (to know the person social class)
- what is your image os this square?
- what this square offers that the others do not?
- what group of people uses this square? what are the differences between their uses?
